"Awesome guys! My car broke down on the way to work so I had it towed there by the recommendation of AAA. My engine had died because of a faulty oil change and they diagnosed it, told me what was wrong and why it happened and told me to insist that the oil place pay for it. It felt like they were really looking out for me. I'll be taking my car there for oil changes and any other work from now on. They also told me about a class I can take at their Missouri location where I can be paired up with a technician and learn more about my car - sweet deal!"

"I love these guys. They have never once ripped me off, or tried to talk me into getting unnecessary work done. Even though I'm a female, they have never talked down to me or tried to take advantage of me (like most mechanics do, assuming that I know nothing about cars). They've even given me instructions for the minor fixes I said I wanted to do myself. This past February they installed a new battery while doing other repairs; last week, that battery died, when tested I was told it had a bad cell. I took the battery back to Sallas, and they not only replaced it for free, but sent one of their guys out TO MY HOUSE to put it back in. Once, on the phone, they walked me through a simple diagnostic to see if I needed to bring it in, or if I could handle the repair myself. My Honda has about a quarter million miles on it; I'm confident that Sallas will help me keep it running for another 250k."

"A friend referred these guys and the fact that offered drop off and pick up from work sealed the deal. I liked them, I'm going back in the fall."

Great Kansas City Auto Repair Shop. Great staff, honest estimates, and just a great all around feel to the company. Finding an honest mechanic is very hard. I came out here from Colorado. Use to be in the car repair business back home. Coming out to Kansas City has made it hard to find a good mechanic. Very hard. There are a lot of shady shops in the area.

I have been praying for a good, trustworthy mechanic since I moved here in February. I am a single Mom and make little money. My son was sick for several years and we have had to go all over the country from hospital to hospital, living out of our car at times. It's not been easy. My car MUST be maintained and in good health. I can't afford someone who will lie to me or pad the price of something. Today Nick worked with me and did exactly what was needed and they even added a 52 pt inspection. I need tires for my car, three, before winter. They couldn't get a match for the one good tire so he even offered to take it for me and not charge me over what the tire company would charge me just to ensure good quality service. I will eventually need a motor mount replaced. In the past I have been told ALL. He gave me a mini school lesson today on motor mounts and it will only be one. WOW! My serpentine belt went bad and instead of charging me for theirs, he found out where I got mine, is taking it back to get the money back, put one of theirs with a lifetime warranty on it and only charged the labor AND still did the 52 pt. inspection. I am going to their free car clinic in October and I can't wait. My Uncle back home is a mechanic so I learned enough from him to know when a mechanic is giving me a line. Not Nick. He is not one of those mechanics. I am SO happy right now. As I said, I make very little on my current job and have no benefits, have health issues and I still need my car for my son. Nick knows NOTHING about my life so this wasn't a special favor for the poor little single Mom. I am sorry for anyone on here who didn't give Nick a chance to work with them and left disgruntled. I can assure you the man I met today is not like that. They aren't out to rape your pocketbook. They are there to serve the customer. And they do it well. Thank you Nick!!!

They were honest, quick, super friendly, and they explained everything so that I would understand it all and feel comfortable with the work being done!

"I got an oil change there after buying a Groupon. I had a good experience, so I also brought my car in for a routine maintenance. I was happy with their customer service, and I felt like they really worked with me to make my appointment as convenient as possible. I rarely feel like I'm being looked out for when bringing my car places for service, but I really felt that way at Sallas. I was a happy camper!"
