Sallas Auto Repair has been hosting FREE Car Care Clinics since 1999. You spend 3 hours with us and in that time we will go over specific benefits of Preventative Maintenance, How to Buy a Pre- owned vehicle, Emergency Procedures and much, much more!
Then the last hour of the clinic we pull your own vehicle in the shop and go over your vehicle with you bumper to bumper!! - This is the most popular part of the clinic. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to learn more about the machine you rely so much on!

Sallas Auto Repair is more than an auto repair shop. We're committed to educating drivers about how to care for their cars. Ever wonder what goes on under your car hood? Understand the function of a CV Boot? Do you know what to do in case of an accident, or the best way to buy a used car? Our free Car Care Clinics are designed to answer all of those questions and much more. We feel that all vehicle owners should not only know how to drive, but how to keep their cars running well. We're passionate about vehicle maintenance, and want others to be passionate about it, too! That's why we have car care classes to teach others how to understand and care for their vehicles.
Care Care Class Format
During our clinics, our owners Nick & Carla Sallas and our trained mechanics and technicians thoroughly explain the in's and out's of understanding your car, and making small auto repairs at home, so that you can become a safer, more knowledgeable driver. We'll cover everything from buying a used car to explaining what all of the car parts are, and how they work. Several of our car care class topics include:
- Main vehicle components and how they work
- Diagnostic time: what is it & what is it for?
- Vehicle maintenance and why it is so important
- Finding an auto repair shop you can trust
- Finding and buying a used vehicle
- What to do in case of an accident
- Emergency services, tow companies and other helpful resources

Why Attend a Car Care Clinic?
Clinics are a great way to learn about your cars! They can also be helpful if you're a first-time visitor and would like to check us out before bringing your 'baby' in for repairs. Car clinics can also be especially helpful for new drivers, or those who are heading off to college in the fall.
Nick Sallas has been giving Car Care Clinics since 1999. As we've gained interest in automobile education, we've grown our car care clinics and host them every quarter. Conducted on Saturdays, we offer breakfast, an educational seminar and one-on-one time with our trained mechanics. We'll also take the time to look at your personal vehicle and explain all of the details to you!
Upcoming Car Care Clinics
Clinics are open to everyone; both long-time customers or first time visitors. We ask that you please RSVP, and let us know how many people will be in attendance. We typically host our clinics in April and October, as April is National Car Care Month! By hosting them during these transitional months, we'll be inspecting your car at the best times in the year, preparing them for the upcoming seasonal changes!
